Company History
FUNctional Games Apparel LLC, (FGA) was officially founded in Camden, New Jersey with the help of an angel investment group of faithful family and friends. FGA committed to manufacturing its patented products and creating local jobs in the United States long before “Made In The U.S.A.” was popular. Initially, FGA contracted with U.S. manufacturers to make its patented Jump Shot® Gear but those manufacturing partners went out of business or sold off. The Company acknowledged that the vision would only be realized if it took the necessary steps to manufacture its own patented products. With the focus to do just that, FGA developed the Jump Shot® Sneaker Sleeves & Solo Sleeve that it could easily manufacture. The new and innovative products have broad appeal and utility that all athletes at heart can enjoy. The FGATM trademark represents the Company’s primary brand to represent all sports, fun activities, and the athletes who participate.
FUNctional Games Apparel LLC and its Jump Shot® brand are hitting the athletic apparel & accessories market hard with innovative products that put the “FUN” back in functionality. First up, and in time for basketball season is the Jump Shot Sneaker Sleeves. All we can say is if you did not have SWAG before, you will with this unique carrying device.

Since its inception, FGA’s mission is to balance the need to generate reasonable profits with job creation and development of youth education & life skills initiatives in U.S. inner cities like Camden, NJ. Although a For-Profit company, FGA is categorized as a social entrepreneurial enterprise because we focus on making a positive impact on the community. For example, our P.I.N.S. Training Program addresses the rise in unemployment due to conditions such as the Pandemic by pairing job training with companies and businesses that are committed to apprenticeships and hiring.
It is not all about the athlete! FGA has been listening to a unique target market and they have been screaming for help! They are an integral part of the athlete’s training, preparation, and game-time performance. Huge sums of money are paid for them but they feel like they don’t get the attention and tender loving care they deserve. We have heard the cries of sneakers all across the world and they are tired of being:
